Next Call · Help & Support
Adding someone — tap the + button on the home screen and select from your contacts. Next Call uses your existing contact photos automatically.
Logging a catch-up — tap anyone on your list to open their profile. After you've spoken or caught up, add details about the call, in-person meeting, or however you connected. The timer resets once you've logged it.
Changing a cadence — tap a person's name to open their profile, then use the ... menu to change the cadence. Updates take effect immediately.
Removing someone — open their profile and tap the … menu to remove them from Next Call.
Next Call sends a notification when someone is overdue for a catch-up. You can adjust or disable these in your iPhone's Settings → Next Call → Notifications.
The frequency of Next Call notifications can be changed by using the Settings page.
Next Call works entirely on your device. Your contacts and conversation history stay with you. We don't collect, store, or transmit any of it off your device. Contact data is read locally to let you select people and use existing contact details; none of it leaves your phone. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
Does Next Call access my contacts?
Yes. Next Call reads your contacts locally so you can select people to add and use shortcuts for getting in touch. This all happens on your device; your contact data is never sent anywhere.
Can I log an interaction with multiple people at once?
Yes. When adding an interaction, you can tag multiple people who were part of the same call or catch-up.
The app isn't sending reminders — what do I do?
Check that notifications are enabled in Settings → Next Call → Notifications, and that your phone isn't in Focus mode blocking them.
I deleted the app. Can I get my contacts or interaction history back?
Your Contacts will be safe as they're in your phone's Contacts database, not in Next Call.
Your interaction history is never sent off your phone to our servers, so we can't help you retrieve it. If you have deleted the app, the history is all gone for privacy reasons.
I replaced my iPhone. Can I get my contacts or interaction history back?
If you restore your iPhone from an iCloud backup that included Next Call, then you will automatically see your interaction history. If you start over and reinstall the app on a fresh phone, you won't get your history.
